Court Booking Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation through The Royall Courts Cebu website, the customer ("Player", "User", or "Client") acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Reservation

1.1 All court reservations must be made exclusively through The Royall Courts Cebu website.

1.2 The customer shall select their preferred date, time, and duration of play and complete the required online payment process.

1.3 Upon successful payment, the system will automatically generate a booking confirmation email containing the reservation details and a unique reference number.

1.4 The booking confirmation email and reference number must be presented at the court reception or counter for verification prior to court access.

2. Arrival and Court Usage

2.1 Players are required to arrive at least thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled booking time. Arriving one (1) hour before the booked schedule is highly encouraged.

2.2 The booked court time shall begin and end strictly according to the reserved schedule.

2.3 Late arrivals will not be entitled to time extensions, credits, refunds, or rescheduling.

2.4 A maximum of ten (10) players are permitted per court during any reserved session unless otherwise approved by management.

3. Payment Policy

3.1 Full payment is required to confirm a reservation.

3.2 All confirmed bookings are considered final.

3.3 Bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-NEGOTIABLE, and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

3.4 No refunds, credits, or rescheduling shall be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, unused court time, personal schedule conflicts, weather-related preferences, or change of plans.

4. Court Transfers ("Pasalo")

4.1 Players may privately transfer or sell their booked court slot to another party ("Pasalo") at their own discretion.

4.2 Any such arrangement shall be solely between the original booking holder and the replacement player.

4.3 The Royall Courts Cebu shall not participate in, mediate, verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any payment, dispute, fraud, misunderstanding, or agreement arising from such transfers.

5. Safety and Assumption of Risk

5.1 Participation in pickleball and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, equipment-related injuries, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen incidents.

5.2 All players voluntarily participate at their own risk.

5.3 Players are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit and medically capable of participating in sports activities.

5.4 The Royall Courts Cebu, its owners, officers, employees, coaches, staff, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, illness, disability, death, accident, or loss resulting from participation in activities conducted on the premises.

6. Personal Belongings and Property

6.1 Players are solely responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings at all times.

6.2 The Royall Courts Cebu shall not be responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, misplaced, forgotten, or damaged personal items, including but not limited to:

• Mobile phones
• Wallets
• Cash
• Jewelry
• Sports equipment
• Bags
• Clothing
• Vehicles and vehicle contents

6.3 Any items left on the premises may be turned over to management's Lost and Found section but retrieval is not guaranteed.

7. Property Damage

7.1 Players shall be responsible for any damage caused to court facilities, equipment, fixtures, furniture, or property resulting from negligence, misuse, intentional acts, or violations of court rules.

7.2 The Royall Courts Cebu reserves the right to assess and recover the cost of repair or replacement from the responsible party.

8. Emergency Situations

8.1 In the event of an accident, injury, medical emergency, natural disaster, power interruption, government restriction, force majeure event, or any circumstance beyond reasonable control, The Royall Courts Cebu may suspend, delay, modify, or terminate court operations as necessary.

8.2 The Royall Courts Cebu shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from such events.

8.3 Players authorize court personnel to contact emergency responders when deemed necessary. Any medical expenses incurred shall remain the sole responsibility of the affected individual.

9. Conduct and Compliance

9.1 All players must observe proper sportsmanship, respect fellow players, staff, and court facilities.

9.2 The Royall Courts Cebu reserves the right to refuse entry, remove participants, or cancel access without refund for behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, unlawful, or contrary to court policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Philippine laws, The Royall Courts Cebu shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, expenses, costs, liabilities, or causes of action arising from:

• Use of the court facilities;
• Participation in sports activities;
• Loss, theft, or damage of personal property;
• Accidents or injuries occurring on the premises;
• Booking disputes between players;
• Force majeure events;
• Technical issues affecting online reservations.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing an online reservation and payment through The Royall Courts Cebu website, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The customer further confirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted all risks associated with the use of The Royall Courts Cebu facilities.
